This page was created to document the street art that's started growing along the walls, stalls, and crawls in the Northern Virginia, DC, and surrounding metropolitan areas. With the present urban, and suburban expansion of the area, we notice a growing community of street artists in the form of stickers, wheat paste, spray paint, and other unique mediums to convey the message that not all art should be illegal.

We understand that any empty wall can be used as canvas, and want to help promote the artistic aspect of 'graffiti'. Sometimes funny, sometimes thought-provoking, and sometimes awe-inspiring, it's starting to show it's face everywhere, and we're ready to accept it as an art form, making the streets that much more of an interesting place to walk through.
